The amendment will reclassify 15.69 ha from a ‘Parks and Recreation’ reservation to a ‘Public Purposes – Special Uses’ reservation and 1.72 ha to a ‘Urban’ zone to facilitate the development of a television studio screen production facility and provide for the widening of Marshall Road and align with the abutting zoning.
The amendment proposes to introduce provisions to provide for an unrestricted length of stay for a chalet on strata lots 6-13 and 48-51.
LPS Amendment 4 proposes to rezone part of Lot 9001 from ‘Urban Development’ zone to the ‘Residential’ zone (with a density of R20) and amend the Scheme Map accordingly.
The amendment proposes to amend Local Planning Scheme 1 Schedule 7 Special provisions relating to development on land zoned ‘Rural Residential Zone’ to include Lot 201 Burnside Road, Burnside with specific conditions and requirements for the purpose of enabling subdivision of the amendment area. The scheme map will be amended accordingly to reflect the inclusion of Lot 201 as R-R 44 in Schedule 7.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 6270 (No.5) Miller Street, Wedgefield, from ‘Environmental Conservation’ reserve to a ‘Light Industry’ zone and amend the Scheme Map accordingly. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to align the zoning with the current land use and with strategic planning for Port Hedland.
Amendment 8 is an omnibus amendment which proposes a number of revisions and corrections to the Scheme maps. These largely relate to changes to reflect existing land uses, correct errors and to remove the abolished Public Drinking Water Source Areas (PDWSA) of Yerina Springs, Northampton and Port Gregory from the maps.
The amendment proposes to insert Additional Use 15 (AU 15) over the ‘Priority Agriculture’ zoned Lot 210 (No.3003) West Swan Road, with the scheme map amended accordingly. Scheme text is proposed to be inserted to Schedule 2 – Additional Uses and Schedule 5 – Additional site and development requirements. AU15 is proposed to allow for a cafe or produce store and subdivision into two lots.
Amendment 1399/57 proposes to transfer approximately 1.53 hectares of land in Ascot, City of Belmont, from the Parks and Recreation reservation to the Urban zone.
The amendment proposes to modify Clause 3.4, Table 4 of the Local Planning Scheme to add
Restaurant/Café as an additional use (discretionary use) and amend the Scheme Maps
accordingly.
The amendment proposes to rezone the subject lots from ‘Agricultural Resource’ to ‘General Industry’ and remove Additional Uses No. 7 and No. 20 from Schedule 3 of the Local Planning Scheme. The proposed amendment is to facilitate future industrial development within the Muchea Industrial Park consistent with Shire of Chittering Local Planning Strategy (2019) and the Muchea Industrial Park Structure Plan (2022).
