Amendment 105 proposes to amend an existing development contribution area. This amendment is administrative in nature and relates to the deletion of supplementary and unnecessary notes for the equation used to calculate the Cost Contribution Rate for the above area.
Amendment 138 will facilitate the redevelopment of the Eastern Highway Precinct along Stirling Highway, for mixed uses with apartments while adding building design controls including heights and setback requirements.
The City of Albany proposes to rezone Lot 5780 Down Road South, Drome from Priority Agriculture to Special Use No. 26 to facilitate the development of the Albany Motorsport Park. Development and use of the Motorsport Park is required to be in accordance with the conditions specified in Schedule 4 of the scheme, the Albany Motorsport Park Precinct Plan and approved management plans for Noise, Water, Hydrocarbons, Waste, Dust, Acid Sulphate Soils, Protected Exclusion Zone, Decommissioning and Construction.
Amendment 14 proposes to recode the existing lots coded R20 within the portion of DA 9 to R60, amend the scheme text related to DA 9 to require a local development plan to be prepared for subdivision approval involving the creation of vacant lots, and introduce development standards for grouped dwellings proposed on lot sizes less than 350m2.
Amendment 178 proposes to amend the scheme text to extend the period of operation of the current Development Contribution Plans in Southern River and Maddington, and to specify the infrastructure and amendment items to be funded in the Southern River Precinct 1 Structure Plan Development Contribution Area.
