LPS 3 is proposed to replace the existing Town Planning Scheme 2. The changes are predominantly to update the Scheme to align with the Planning and Development Regulations 2015, to reflect existing land use. The new scheme proposes a number of changes including new zones, rezonings, text updates, scheme provision amendments, additional uses to reflect actual land uses and the introduction of several Special Control Areas.
Amendment 43 proposes rezone part of Lot 22 Bussell Highway, Yalyalup from ‘Tourism’, ‘Special Use 15 (Road Purposes) and ‘Reserve for Recreation” to ‘Special Use 27 (Yalyalup Development), and include the land within ‘Special Provision Area 23’. This is to facilitate the development of the land for residential purposes as part of the ongoing development of the Provence Estate.
Local Planning Scheme 7 (LPS 7) is proposed to replace the existing Town Planning Scheme 5 (TPS 5). LPS 7 includes changes to text, zoning and scheme provisions as compared to TPS 5. The new scheme proposes a number of changes including new zones, rezonings, text updates, scheme provision amendments, additional uses and the introduction of new and updating of existing Special Control Areas. The changes update the Scheme to align with the Planning and Development Regulations 2015.
The City of Swan proposes to rezone a portion of Lot 1354 Great Northern Highway and a portion of Lot 1314 Chittering Road, Bullsbrook from ‘General Rural’ to ‘Residential Development’. An additional use which allows a Green Waste Recycling facility for Lot 1314 will be removed.
Amendment 7 proposes to rezone portion of Lot 301 Adamson Road from ‘General Farming’ to ‘Light Industry’ and re-classify the portion of Adamson Road fronting Lots 301 & 525 Adamson Road from Local Scheme Reserve ‘Parks and Recreation’, ‘Light Industry’ zone and ‘General Farming’ zone to ‘No Zone’.
The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River proposes to translate land use controls recommended by the Margaret River Industrial Park Structure Plan into its local planning scheme to give the land use controls statutory force and effect. The proposed scheme provisions specify areas within the site which can be used for ‘light’, ‘general’ or ‘buffer’ industry.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lots 800-804, 192, 194 and 35 Great Northern Highway, Muchea within the Muchea Employment Node Structure Plan from ‘Agricultural Resource’ zone to ‘Light Industrial’ zone. It is proposed to amend the Zoning Table for the land uses ‘Concrete Batching Plant’, ‘Workforce Accommodation’ and ‘Fast Food Outlet’ in the Light Industrial and General Industrial zones; and add provisions for Precinct 3 of the Muchea Industrial Park to Schedule 11 – Muchea Employment Node Special Control Area.
Amendment 6 proposes to rezone Lot 9001 from Rural to Industrial, amend the Scheme Map accordingly and amend the Scheme Text to consider effluent disposal prior to any further subdivision of Industrial zoned land.

Amendment 13 proposes to rezone Lot 115 Padbury Street, Moora from Rural Residential to Industrial zone. Rezoning will facilitate development of an agricultural and construction machinery dealership.
