Amendment 40 proposes changes to the scheme text to avoid retail development outside the ‘Regional Centre’ and ‘Centre’ zones within the City of Busselton.
The City of Busselton proposes to re-instate provisions requiring development approval for development within the following Special Control Areas - Landscape Value Area, Wetland Area, Coastal Management Area, Special Character Areas, Airport Protection Area, Waste Water Exclusion Area and Waste Water Buffer Area, and Floodway Area.
The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River proposes to translate land use controls recommended by the Margaret River Industrial Park Structure Plan into its local planning scheme to give the land use controls statutory force and effect. The proposed scheme provisions specify areas within the site which can be used for ‘light’, ‘general’ or ‘buffer’ industry.
The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River proposes to add provisions to Schedule 7 of its scheme text to allow for the subdivision of 2 adjacent Rural Residential zoned lots into 1 ha lots. At present the minimum lot size permitted is 3 ha.
The Western Australian Planning Commission proposes to rezone approximately 41 ha of
land from the Private Recreation zone and Road Reserve to Urban. Rezoning will facilitate adoption of a local structure plan to guide development at the Bunbury Turf Club.
Amendment 42 proposes to amend the scheme text by inserting a new clause within Part 5 -
Special Control Area, for the creation of the Western Ringtail Possum Habitat Protection Area to envelop residential areas in the Dunsborough and Busselton townships.
Amendment 4 proposes to recode Lots 44-48 Castle Street, Bunbury from R20/40 to R20/R60 and to insert Additional Site and Development Requirements into Schedule 3 of the Scheme.
The City of Bunbury has initiated Amendment 1 to correct minor formatting and
typographical errors identified in the Scheme Text and modify the Scheme Map to correct a minor mapping anomaly.
Amendment 041-57 proposes to remove the Water Catchments-Special Control Area from
land where Public Drinking Water Source Areas have been abolished
Amendment 39 proposes to remove Special Provision 33 given that there is no planning
framework for the requirement for any future residential development to incorporate a
minimum 60% single bedroom dwellings. Lot 202 Bussell Highway, West Busselton is proposed
to be re-coded from R40/R60 to R60 and Lot 201 Seymour Street, West Busselton is proposed
to be re-coded from R40/R60 to R40. The Scheme Maps will be amended accordingly.
