The amendment proposes to insert new land use definitions at Schedule 1 of the Scheme, and additional uses for Lot 10 New Street, Williams at Schedule 5 of the Scheme. The proposed amendment is to facilitate discretionary approval for existing land uses within the amendment area.
Amendment 43 proposes additional scheme text to provide protection to trees on private land which is zoned R30 and below. The amendment proposes to insert a new provision into the scheme which will require a development application for the removal of a tree which complies with a selection criteria. A Draft Local Planning Policy 3.25: Trees on Private Land, has been prepared to support Amendment 43.
The amendment proposes to modify ‘Table 3 – Zoning Table’ by changing the land use permissibility of ‘Residential-Grouped Dwellings’ in the ‘Mixed-use’ zone from ‘X’ ‘not permitted’ to ‘A’ ‘not permitted unless Council exercises its discretion after public consultation’, to enable the development of group dwellings for public housing. The existing Mixed-use zoned land within the Shire has been historically developed.
Amendment 28 proposes to introduce an ‘Additional Use A28’ and amend scheme map over a portion of Lot 8021 Waterville Road, Neergabby for a hardstand to be constructed for the assembling of transportable buildings.

The amendment proposes to amend the City of Perth’s City Planning Scheme 2 (CPS2) by introducing ‘Healthcare 2’ land use category as an additional use on Lot 10 Adelaide Terrace and Lots 11 and 12 Terrace Road, East Perth.

Amendment 217 proposes to amend the scheme maps to reclassify part of Lot 82 West Parade, South Guildford that was made unzoned by the gazettal of Metropolitan Region Scheme Amendment No.1396/57 to ‘Special Use Zone No.24’, replace the current “Special Use Zone Precinct Map” in Schedule No.4 – Special Use Zone No.24 with the revised Special Use Zone Precinct Map (changes relating to the above Lots), and update the current “Description of Land” in Schedule No.4 – Special Use Zone No.24
