Amendment 171 proposes to rationalise TPS3 by rezoning various lots from ‘Development’ to Residential’, reclassifying land from ‘Development’ or Local Road’ to ‘Parks and Recreation’ or ‘Lakes and Drainage’ and/or ‘Local Road’; reduce the extent of the Development Control 13 special control area boundary and rationalisation of implemented structure plans (13A, 13B, 13C, 13D, 13E, 13G and 13I).
The amendment proposes to transfer 4.1 hectares of land within parts of Lots 500 – 502 Cockburn Road and part of Lot 172 Poore Grove, Coogee from the ‘Railways and Primary Regional Roads’ reservation to the ‘Parks and Recreation’ reservation.
The amendment proposes to normalise City of Wanneroo District Planning Scheme 2 (DPS 2) by removing the effect of East Wanneroo Cell 5 (Landsdale) Local Structure Plan No. 7 over some established areas in the Landsdale locality. The amendment also proposes modifications to the DPS 2 mapping to reflect the recent approval of Amendment 172.
The amendment proposes to normalise City of Wanneroo District Planning Scheme 2 (DPS 2) to remove the effect of structure plans over established lands in the Butler and Ridgewood localities. The amendment also proposes to insert scheme text at Schedule 7 of DPS 2 to set out requirements for retail net lettable areas for select Lots in Butler and Ridgewood.
The purpose of Amendment 15 is to rezone a portion of Lot 500 (No. 81) Ranford Road, Canning Vale from ‘Public Open Space’ to ‘Environmental Conservation’ reserve.
The amendment proposes to transfer portions of land from 31 local parks within the City from the ‘Public Open Space’ reserve to the ‘Environmental Conservation’ reserve. The proposed amendment will provide for additional protection for approximately 28 hectares of natural areas, and the environmental values contained therein.
City of Cockburn Town Planning Scheme (TPS) Amendment 166 proposes to zone portions of land within the former Roe 8 and Roe 9 as ‘Residential’, ‘Urban’, and ‘Mixed Business’. The amendment proposes zoning the future MRS ‘Urban’ zoned land, between Leda Street and the future MRS ‘Parks and Recreation’ reserve straddling Blackwood Avenue ‘Development’ and applying special control area ‘Development Area No.46’, with associated structure planning provisions. The land associated with the amendment is currently reserved as ‘Primary Regional Road’ in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) and is proposed for future ‘Urban’ or ‘Parks and Recreation’ zoning.
Amendment 12 proposes to rezone Lot 81 South Western Highway, Davenport from ‘Industrial Development’ to ‘General Industry’ zone; modify the scheme map accordingly and insert text into Schedule 3 – additional site and Development Requirements Table 6
The amendment proposes to introduce additional land uses within the portion of the site designated as RU17A under Schedule 3 of the Scheme Text.
Amendment 159 proposes to update the zoning and reservation of various land parcels across the City to match the developed on-ground situation, existing tenure of various landholdings, and respond to the outcomes of MRS Amendment 1393/57.
