The amendment proposes to modify text at Schedule 1 of Local Planning Scheme 8 to
introduce a range of ‘Additional Uses’ of ‘Art gallery’, Holiday accommodation’, ‘Office’, ‘Shop’, ‘Educational establishment’, ‘Exhibition centre’, ‘Liquor store – small’ (limited to a maximum NLA of 70m2) and ‘Restaurant/café’.
Amendment 7 proposes to rezone Lot 200 Spencer Street and Lot 53 Constitution Street, South Bunbury from ‘Local Centre’ and ‘Residential Zone’ to ‘Mixed Use-Residential Zone’ with a density code of ‘R20/60’ and amend the Scheme Map accordingly. The amendment proposes to facilitate an extension to the existing medical centre (pathology laboratory) and associated carparking.
Amendment 0068/57 proposes to rezone a portion of Lot 61 Coalfields Road, Roelands from the ‘Rural’ zone to ‘Urban Deferred’ under the GBRS. This portion of land is proposed to be amalgamated with Lot 42 Government Road.
Amendment 52 proposes to make changes to the zoning, land use and built form provisions to enact recommendations from the proposed PSP. The PSP sets out to plan for the strategic growth and development of the Dunsborough Town Centre.
Amendment 53 proposes to insert additional scheme text at Clause B of Schedule 9 within the
City of Busselton Local Planning Scheme 21. The proposed amendment is to clarify that subject
to the provisions of Schedule 9, illuminated, animated and digital advertising signage is not
exempt from the requirement for development approval from the City.
The Shire of Harvey proposed to amend the District Planning Scheme 1 text in Table 22 Zoning and Development Standards – Kemerton Ancillary Industry. The text amendments are to refine land use provisions for greater certainty for the General Industrial uses within the Kemerton Ancillary Industry Zone, and to include ‘Service Station’ as an AA use in ‘Land Use Categories’ in Table 22.
The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River has initiated Amendment 69 to rezone a portion of Lot 30 Peake Street, Cowaramup from ‘General Agriculture’ to ‘Tourism’.
The City of Bunbury proposes to incorporate an additional Schedule along with new text that supports arrangements for establishing a design review panel. This is to support ‘good design’ in consideration of complex planning proposals.
Introducing a number of changes to the Scheme in accordance with the endorsed Central
Withers Structure Plan. The changes proposed are removing the lower value of all split RCodes
lots within the structure plan area, upcoding of privately owned lots and including ‘R60’
and ‘R80’ density lots within the ‘Development Areas Special Control Area.’
The City of Busselton proposes to amend the Special Use zone provisions for a portion of Lot 1 Causeway Road, Busselton. The subject land is approximately 9,420m² and developed as a service station with ancillary uses including a drive through coffee outlet, shop and a warehouse/storage area. The amendment aims to better define and clarify the land use controls that currently apply.
