The amendment seeks to add an additional use of ‘Industry – Light’ to Lot 12 (101) King Road, Oakford. The additional use will facilitate result the discontinuation of the existing poultry farm operations and replacement with blending, packaging and storage of agricultural and mining products
The amendment proposes to insert new land uses and modify the permissibility of
existing land uses within ‘Precinct 2’ of ‘Special Use’ Zone No. 24 in the City of Swan
Local Planning Scheme 17. The proposed amendment is to facilitate redevelopment
of the former Rosehill Lodge site for commercial and tourism purposes
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 500 from ‘Special Use’ to ‘Residential’ with a density coding of R30 and amend the scheme text and map accordingly.
The amendment proposes to replace the existing ‘Industry’ definition in Schedule 1 to be consistent with the Model Provisions contained in the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015. In addition, a new definition of ‘renewable energy facility’ will be inserted into Schedule 1 of the TPS.
The amendment proposes to modify the short stay provisions for Restricted Use No. 16 at Schedule 8 of the Scheme, to provide for permanent occupation within Lots 100 and 101 Rigg Road, Myalup.
Amendment 42 proposes to insert a new land-use class, ‘Renewable Energy Facility’ and corresponding land-use permissibility in the Zoning Table (Table 1), and insert a new definition of ‘Renewable Energy Facility’ within Schedule 1 – Interpretations.
The amendment will reclassify 15.69 ha from a ‘Parks and Recreation’ reservation to a ‘Public Purposes – Special Uses’ reservation and 1.72 ha to a ‘Urban’ zone to facilitate the development of a television studio screen production facility and provide for the widening of Marshall Road and align with the abutting zoning.
The amendment proposes to introduce provisions to provide for an unrestricted length of stay for a chalet on strata lots 6-13 and 48-51.
Amendment 8 is an omnibus amendment which proposes a number of revisions and corrections to the Scheme maps. These largely relate to changes to reflect existing land uses, correct errors and to remove the abolished Public Drinking Water Source Areas (PDWSA) of Yerina Springs, Northampton and Port Gregory from the maps.
Amendment 2 proposes scheme text modifications applicable to the consideration and approval of subdivisions under the Swan Valley Planning Scheme. The amendment includes the insertion of Clause 39A to provide for discretionary decisions by the Western Australian Planning Commission to approve subdivisions that are not fully compliant with an additional site and development requirements. The amendment also proposes modifications to Schedule 5, regarding subdivision succession provisions and application of minimum lot size requirements.
