Amendment 112 proposes to implement the planning scheme modifications recommended by the Main Street Urban Design Strategy.

Amendment 132 proposes to amend the ‘Special Use Zone 6’ map and text to reflect the Environmental Protection (Western Swamp Tortoise Habitat) Policy 2011 policy area and requirements, with most lots be rezoned from ‘General Rural’ to the ‘Special Use Zone 6’. Lot 51 Almeria Parade, Lot 2 and 23 Apple Street and Lot 43 Great Northern Highway, Upper Swan have been omitted from the ‘Special Use Zone 6’ and will remain in the ‘General Rural’ zone.
Amendment 111 proposes to introduce a Heritage List into the Scheme.
Amendment 152 proposes to delete provisions of Local Planning Scheme No.2 that are now replaced by the deemed provisions in Schedule 2 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme) Regulations 2015.
Amendment 3 proposes to insert the Deemed Provisions of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme) Regulations 2015 into the Scheme Text.

Amendment 41 proposes to establish a Special Entertainment Precent Special Control Area within Northbridge which will require noise attenuation standards for new development to meet specified sound levels, within proposed ‘Core’ and ‘Frame’ areas.
The City of Kwinana proposes to rezone a 1,235m2 lot from Public ‘Purpose – State Government’ to ‘Residential’ with a density code of R20. The amendment will facilitate the development of the lot with 2 or 3 dwellings.
