Amendment 6 proposes to rectify an anomaly concerning ‘Private Community Purposes’ zone within the scheme. This will change the land use permissibility of ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ from a ‘discretionary land’ use to a ‘not permitted’ land use in the ‘Private Community Purposes’ zone; Rezone Lot 29 Barradine Way, Craigie from ‘Private Community Purposes’ to Residential R40 and add ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ to the land at Joondalup Resort.
Amendment 37 proposes to rezone Lots 20 and 21 Graham Road, Narrogin from Rural to General Industry to accommodate an ‘Agricultural Machinery Dealership and Service Centre’ on Lot 21 Graham Road
The Western Australian Planning Commission proposes to rezone parcels of land in the Shire of Dardanup from ‘Rural’ to ‘Urban Deferred’ to facilitate the development of the proposed ‘Wanju Urban Expansion Area’.
The Western Australian Planning Commission proposes to rezone 1350 hectares of land in the Shire of Dardanup from ‘Rural’ to ‘Industrial to facilitate the development of the proposed ‘Waterloo Industrial Expansion Area’.
Amendment 185 proposes improvements to the administration of developer contribution arrangements to the East Wanneroo (Cells 1-9) Agreed Structure Plans.
The Town of Port Hedland proposes to reclassify and rezone various lots known as the ‘Stables Precinct’ to Urban Development.
LPS 3 is proposed to replace the existing Town Planning Scheme 2. The changes are predominantly to update the Scheme to align with the Planning and Development Regulations 2015, to reflect existing land use. The new scheme proposes a number of changes including new zones, rezonings, text updates, scheme provision amendments, additional uses to reflect actual land uses and the introduction of several Special Control Areas.

On the 27th July 2020 the Minister for Environment, in accordance with section 48A(2) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986, advised the City of Mandurah that Amendment 137 is incapable of being made environmentally acceptable, and a statement of environmental conditions cannot be delivered and published under section 48F of the EP Act. Amendment 114 proposes to rezone land in the Herdsman Glendalough Special Control Area from ‘Development’ to ‘Residential’, ’Light Industry’ and ‘Mixed Use’. This amendment proposes provisions in the Scheme text necessary as a consequence of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme Regulations) 2015. The area is already fully developed.
