The Shire of Chittering Amendment 69 proposes to:
•Change the residential zone coding of Lot 9002 Reserve Road, Chittering from‘Residential R2’ to ‘Residential R5’,
•Rename the Residential R2 Zone in the scheme text to Residential Zone and updatethe zone objectives,
•Update the Development Provisions for the Residential Zone,
•Insert ‘Home Store’ and ‘Holiday House’ as discretionary additional land uses in theResidential and Townsite zones, and
•Amend the Military Considerations Special Control Area to reflect changes that havebeen developed between the Shire, Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, andthe Department of Defence.
The City of Swan proposes to rezone Lot 811 (No.6) Tipper Court, Hazelmere from 'General Industrial' to 'Special Use'. The rezoning will facilitate development of a commercial hub based around a service station. The scheme amendment will insert conditions of development specific to Lot 811 into Schedule 4 of the scheme text. Conditions relate to permitted land uses and requirements for sewage disposal
The Shire of Exmouth proposes to insert the additional use of Workforce Accommodation
into the scheme for the Service Commercial zoned land generally bounded by Murat Road,
Nimitz Street, Reid Street and Welch Street, Exmouth. The additional use is proposed to be at
the discretion of the Shire and apply until 30 June 2026
The Shire of Capel proposes to rezone Part Lot 2 Calinup Road Gelorup from ‘Rural’ to ‘Special Rural’ and include the land within Special Rural Zone Area No. 2.
The City proposes to rezone and reserve Lot 105 Frenchman Bay Road Big Grove from ‘Public Use’ to ‘Future Urban’ and ‘Parks and Recreation’.
The City of Swan proposes to rezone Lots 189 and 190 Adelaide Street, Hazelmere from General Rural to Light Industrial, with a part of Lot 190 to be reserved as Local Road.
The Shire of Manjimup proposes to Rezone Lot 1 on Diagram 62828 Middlesex Road Middlesex
and Part Lot 13143 on Deposited Plan 181722 Middlesex Road Middlesex (the amendment
area) from ‘Priority Agriculture’ zone to ‘Special Use’ zone (Special Use Zone No.8) and amend
the scheme text and map accordingly. Proposed land uses include various accommodation
types, education establishment, reception centre and rural pursuit.
The Shire of Nannup (the Shire) proposes to replace its current Local Planning Scheme No. 3 (LPS 3) with Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (LPS 4). LPS 4 is an updated version of LPS 3 that aligns with the Shire’s Local Planning Strategy and the state, regional and local planning framework.
Lots 557 to 563 DP 67882 Premier Road Shotts is currently zoned Special Use 11, allowing for industrial land uses associated with the coal industry. The Shire proposes to amend LPS 5 to increase the range of permissible land uses to allow industry not related to coal to be permitted, and include further structure planning provisions for Lots 557-563 Premier Road; and to include additional land use definitions for the whole scheme area.
The Shire of Manjimup proposes to rezone 9.5 ha of Lot 7489 Burma Road, Pemberton from ‘Future Development’ to ‘Tourist Enterprise’. The rezoning will facilitate the development of a camping ground and caravan park. Amendment 24 also proposes to change the reserve status of portions of two neighbouring lots from ‘Public Purposes: Government Requirements’ and ‘State Forest and Other Forest Reserves’ to ‘Local Roads’ to facilitate road access.
