The City of Gosnells has initiated Amendment 169 to zone land from General Rural to Business
Development. The Amendment area is known as Precinct 2 within the Maddington Kenwick Strategic
Employment Area.
The City of Gosnells has initiated Amendments 166 to zone land from General Rural to Business
Development. The Amendment areas is known as Precinct 3B within the Maddington Kenwick Strategic
Employment Area.
The amendment proposes to change the zoning of ‘Tree Farms’ and its corresponding land-use permissibility in the Zoning Table (Table 1), insert a new Clause 35 to introduce development controls for tree farms, and to re-format the scheme text as required.
The amendment proposes to introduce additional ‘Discretionary’ land uses (Consulting Rooms, Storage and Warehouse) within the lot.
The amendment proposes to rezone a 0.2 hectare (ha) portion of Lot 65 South Western Highway, Glen Iris from ‘Regional Open Space’ reserve to ‘Urban’ zone. The proposed amendment is to facilitate the expansion of the Morrissey Homestead site
The purpose of Amendment 15 is to rezone a portion of Lot 500 (No. 81) Ranford Road, Canning Vale from ‘Public Open Space’ to ‘Environmental Conservation’ reserve.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 5905 Cowalla Road, Wanerie from ‘General Rural’ to ‘General Rural (GR 10)’. The amendment also proposes to include new provisions at Schedule 10 of the Scheme to guide future subdivision of the amendment area.
The amendment proposes to rezone multiple lots at the above locations and to introduce provisions at Table 7 of the Scheme to facilitate the development of road infrastructure and the South Hedland Integrated Sports Hub. The amendment also proposes to provide for additional developable land to facilitate expansion of the South Hedland townsite.
The amendment proposes to rezone a 20.8 hectare (ha) portion of Lot 2977 Patstone Road, Collie from the ‘Rural’ to ‘Light Industry’ zone to facilitate future development of an industrial hub. The amendment also proposes to insert provisions at Table 8 of the Scheme to guide and manage future land uses within the amendment area.
The amendment seeks to add an additional use of ‘Industry – Light’ to Lot 12 (101) King Road, Oakford. The additional use will facilitate result the discontinuation of the existing poultry farm operations and replacement with blending, packaging and storage of agricultural and mining products
