The amendment proposes to reclassify areas from ‘Rural Residential’ zoning to ‘Local Scheme Reserve – Drainage/Waterway, or ‘Environmental Conservation’ or ‘Public Purposes; or Local Road and deleting the provisions relating to ‘RR19’ in Schedule 8 (Rural Residential Zone Special Provisions) and replacing those provisions with special provisions.

The Shire of Exmouth proposes to replace the current Town Planning Scheme No. 3 with a new Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (IPS 4). LPS 4 contains new scheme provisions and includes recommendations from the new proposed Local Planning Strategy.

The city of Wanneroo proposes to rezone the Yanchep/Two Rocks area to "Urban Development Zone", "Center Zone and "Industrial Development Zone" from current town planning scheme (TPS) no 1 zonings of primarily "Central City Area", "Rural", "Service Station", "Special Zone (Additional Use) Video Hire" and "Residential Development".
