The proposal is for a marina for Mangles Bay. The marina would be built between the Garden Island Causeway and Hymus Street at the southern end of Cockburn Sound. The marina would have an ultimate capacity of 500 pens and cater for boats up to 20 metres in length. The proponent seeks to re-create existing wetlands adjacent to the Osborne Park Branch Drain.
