Brockman Syncline 4 Iron Ore Project – Marra Mambas Proposal

Hamersley Iron Pty Limited propose to expand its existing Brockman 4 Syncline Iron Ore Mine. The expansion would include further clearing of up to 4,800 hectares and expand its current development envelope by 2,567 hectares. Mining Area C - Southern Flank

The proposal is to revise the Mining Area C operation (located approximately 90km WNW of Newman) to include a new satellite ore body which is located approximately 8 km to the south of the existing approved Mining Area C operations. Hope Downs Iron Ore Mine, 75 Km North-West of Newman Pilbara Region - Baby Hope Proposal

The proposal is to develop and operate the Baby Hope iron ore deposit, located 75 km north-west of Newman in the Pilbara region of WA. The Baby Hope proposal includes above water table open pits, waste rock dumps and supporting transport infrastructure. Clearing of up to 1,000 ha within the existing Hope Downs 1 development envelope would be required for the proposal.
