Mt Keith Satellite Project

BHP Billiton Nickel West (BHPB) proposes to develop the Mt Keith Satellite Project (the proposal), to the existing Mount Keith Mining Operations. The proposal is located approximately 80 km north of Leinster in the Shire of Leonora. The proposal includes clearing of up to 842 hectares of native vegetation (which is also fauna habitat) for two open pits, a Waste Rock Landform and a transport corridor, with minor ancillary infrastructure to support the mining process. Lake Disappointment Potash Project

Reward Minerals propose to develop the Lake Disappointment Potash Project (located approximately 320 km east of Newman). The proposal is to abstract brine from sediments and use solar evaporation ponds on the surface of the lake to create the potash product. Brockman Syncline 4 Iron Ore Project – Marra Mambas Proposal

Hamersley Iron Pty Limited propose to expand its existing Brockman 4 Syncline Iron Ore Mine. The expansion would include further clearing of up to 4,800 hectares and expand its current development envelope by 2,567 hectares. Revised Iron Valley Iron Ore Project

The Proposal is located within the Pilbara Interim Biogeographic Regionalisation for Australia (IBRA) region and is located within the Fortescue and Hamersley IBRA subregions. Mesa A Hub Revised Proposal

Robe River Mining Co Pty Ltd is seeking to extend the existing Mesa A / Warramboo Iron Ore Mining Project by extending the existing mining operation and developing four new nearby deposits. The proposal is 43 kilometres west of Pannawonica in the Pilbara Region. The proposal would require an additional 3000 hectares of clearing of native vegetation, with some below water table mining. Eliwana Iron Ore Mine

Fortescue Metals Group Ltd proposes to develop the Eliwana Mine Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Eliwana Mine Project Area is located approximately 90 km west-northwest of Tom Price. Yeelirrie Uranium Project

The proposal is to mine uranium ore from the Yeelirrie deposit, approximately 70 km south-west of Wiluna, and the construction of associated mine infrastructure, including ore processing facilities, water (includes borefield and corridors) abstraction and reinjection infrastructure, roads, accommodation, offices and workshops, stockpile and laydown areas and evaporation pond.
