Jack Hills Iron Ore Project

The proposal is to develop an iron ore (haematite) mine at Jack Hills approximately 100 km west of Meekatharra. The project will have a lifespan of approximately seven years (five years of mining, two years of closure activities) and will be a contract mining operation. This proposal is for the Development of Industrial Land on the Burrup Peninsula. The proposed site is designated Industrial Lease Area A (Site A). Approval would allow Woodside Energy Ltd to undertake limited site preparation activities for the future installation of infrastructure, such as LNG and condensate storage tanks, which would be needed should the proposed Pluto LNG Development be allowed to proceed. Wheelarra Hill Iron Ore Mine Extension

The proposal is for the remaining life of the mine (50+ years), located west of Jimblebar Creek on Mining Lease 266SA. It entails increasing the iron ore production rate at the mine from 8 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) to approximately 12Mtpa, and the mining of the currently undeveloped deposits on either side of the existing operation, including both in-situ hard rock and detrital ores. East Clontarf Residential Development

The proposal is for residential development on the East Clontarf site, approximately 18ha in size. The site is bounded by Manning Road, Centenary Avenue and the Canning River. It is zoned Urban in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) and Residential in the City of South Perth Town Planning Scheme. Albany Foreshore redevelopment project

The proposal is to reclaim a maximum of 3.5 hectares (ha) of Hanover Bay in Princess Royal Harbour to create a commercial and urban development along the Albany foreshore. This development involves tourist and residential accommodation, and industrial and maritime uses. As part of the development plan, it is proposed to provide services including drainage, sewerage, and connection to water mains and power. Relocation of Herne Hill Quarry Operation (s46)

The Red Hill quarry, located at Lot 11 Toodyay Road, Red Hill has been in operation since late 1997. The quarrying operation involves the extraction of hard rock from the West Pit by blasting and/or excavation by wheeled loader. Quarried rock is then transferred to the onsite crushing and screening plant where it is converted into the various products required in the construction of buildings, roads, railways and other infrastructure. CSBP currently produces approximately 235,000 tpa of ammonium nitrate at its Kwinana operations which are located within the Kwinana Industrial Area.
