Lake Disappointment Potash Project

Reward Minerals propose to develop the Lake Disappointment Potash Project (located approximately 320 km east of Newman). The proposal is to abstract brine from sediments and use solar evaporation ponds on the surface of the lake to create the potash product. Mining Area C - Southern Flank

The proposal is to revise the Mining Area C operation (located approximately 90km WNW of Newman) to include a new satellite ore body which is located approximately 8 km to the south of the existing approved Mining Area C operations. The Proposal is located within the Pilbara Interim Biogeographic Regionalisation for Australia (IBRA) region and is located within the Fortescue and Hamersley IBRA subregions. Eliwana Iron Ore Mine

Fortescue Metals Group Ltd proposes to develop the Eliwana Mine Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Eliwana Mine Project Area is located approximately 90 km west-northwest of Tom Price. Cloudbreak Life of Mine Expansion

The proposal includes the existing Cloudbreak iron ore mine and proposed expansion. The existing mine includes open pit strip mining, backfilling of pits, progressive rehabilitation and ore processing. Pardoo Irrigated Agriculture Project – Stage 3

Pardoo Beef Corporation Pty Ltd proposes to develop a centre-pivot irrigated feed crop production facility. Centre-pivot irrigation is a method of crop irrigation in which equipment rotates around a pivot and crops are watered with sprinklers. The proposal is approximately 100km east-northeast of Port Hedland and 365km south west of Broome. Marillana Iron Ore Project

The proposal involves the development and operation of a 750 Mt iron ore mine, processing facility and associated infrastructure within mining leases M47/1414 and M47/1419. The project area is located approximately 100km north west of Newman in the Fortescue valley. The project area is approximately 15km south of the Fortescue Marsh, a wetland of national significance, and is intersected by Weeli Wolli Creek, which is a major Pilbara drainage system that discharges to the Marsh.
