Project Proponent Covalent Lithium Pty Ltd Proposal description The proposal is for the construction and operation of a Lithium Hydroxide Refinery at Lot 15 Mason Road, Kwinana within the Kwinana Industrial Area, approximately 31 km south of the Perth Central Business District. The Proposal will process spodumene ore concentrate, to produce battery grade Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate, primarily for use in Lithium ion batteries for electric vehicles. The proposal would require a total of 11.2 hectares of native vegetation clearing within a 76 hectare development envelope.
