Wheatstone Project
Summary: The Western Australian (WA) Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has assigned an
Environmental Review and Management Program (ERMP) level of assessment to the
Wheatstone Project. The Commonwealth Department of Environment, Water, Heritage
and the Arts (DEWHA) deemed the Project to be a controlled action to be assessed by
an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Chevron will undertake the State and
Commonwealth assessments through a parallel/coordinated approach. This
Environmental Scoping Document has been prepared as part of the assessment process
and in accordance with EPA and Commonwealth guidance and procedures. The document is based on the Ashburton North site and has been prepared to satisfy the requirements of both jurisdictions (Scoping and Guidelines). A single impact assessment document (EIS/ERMP) will be produced to satisfy both jurisdictions' requirements.

Happy Valley Titanium Mineral Sands Project
Summary: Bemax Resources NL (incorporating Cable Sands) is proposing to develop, mine and rehabilitate two deposits of titanium mineral ore along the Whicher Scarp in the Locality of Gwindinup within the Shire of Cape.
The proposal is being assessed at the level of Environmental Review and Management Programme (ERMP). A draft Environmental Scoping Document has been prepared by the Company.

Summary: Maxima Fish Farms Pty Ltd (MFF) has prepared this Environmental Scoping Document for the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), as part of the environmental assessment process supporting an application for a Barramundi aquaculture proposal at Crawford Bay, Buccaneer Archipelago. This proposal submitted by MFF is to implement sea cage culture utilising 20 grow out cages and 8 nursery cages to produce a maximum of 1,000 tonne of Barramundi per annum in an open water system situated on the northern side of Crawford Bay.

Straits Salt Project - Environmental Scoping Document and Terms of Reference
Summary: Straits Salt Pty Ltd (Straits) is planning to develop a 10 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) solar salt field along the eastern margin of Exmouth Gulf. A referral document was prepared and submitted to the Western Australian Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) in accordance with Section 38 of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (EP Act 1986) on 15th April 2004. The EPA determined that the level of assessment for the proposed Straits Salt Project would be set at Environmental Review and Management Programme (ERMP).
