Advice on areas of conservation significance in the Preston Industrial Park (Bulletin 1282)

This report, published as Bulletin 1282, provides the Environmental Protection Authority's advice to the Minister for the Environment under section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 on the project by the Western Australian Planning Commission to develop a structure plan for the Preston Industrial Park. The project covers 2,950 hectares and is approximately 4km east of Bunbury.
 

Keralup formerly Amarillo Masterplan, Karnup (Bulletin 1281)

This report, published as Bulletin 1281, provides the Environmental Protection Authority's advice to the Minister for the Environment under section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 on the project by the Department of Housing and Works (DHW) to develop a new town site at Amarillo, a farming property in Karnup. Amarillo has subsequently been renamed Keralup.

Advice on areas of the highest conservation value in the proposed extensions to Mount Manning Nature Reserve (Bulletin 1256)

This report, published as Bulletin 1256, presents Ministerial Advice requested from the EPA under Section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 on the location of the highest conservation values in the proposed extensions to the Mt Manning Nature Reserve, and surrounding areas which require protection from extractive industries as well as those areas in the proposed extensions to the Mt Manning Nature Reserve for which there is a potential for environmental offsets.

Strategic advice on the proposed buffer for the Woodman Point Wastewater Treatment Plant (Bulletin 1240)

The Environmental Protection Authority has been requested by the Minister for the Environment to provide advice under section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 on the buffer requirements for the Water Corporation's Woodman Point Wastewater Treatment Plant. The request arises out of community concerns regarding the extent of the odour buffer from the Plant.

Fremantle Ports Outer Harbour Project (Bulletin 1230)

This report, published as Bulletin 1230, provides the Environmental Protection Authority's strategic advice to the Minister for the Environment under section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 and to the Western Australian Planning Commission on the proposal by Fremantle Ports and the Department for Planning and Infrastructure to develop a new port facility and related transport infrastructure for container trade and general cargo in Cockburn Sound.

Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline Corridor Widening - Kwinana to Bunbury Project (Bulletin 1153)

This report, published as Bulletin 1153, provides the Environmental Protection Authority's (EPA's) advice to the Minister for the Environment on the strategic assessment of the concept by the Gas Pipeline Sale Steering Committee (GPSSC) to expand the existing Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) corridor between Kwinana and the Kemerton Industrial Estate.

A Strategic Assessment of the Compatibility of Petroleum Industry Activities with the Environmental Values and Cultural Uses of the Shark Bay World Heritage Area (Bulletin 1115)

The EPA has been requested by the Western Australian Minister for the Environment to provide advice under section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 on a policy framework for petroleum exploration and development within the Shark Bay World Heritage Property. The request arises out of the 1997 agreement between the State and Commonwealth governments on the administrative arrangements for the Shark Bay World Heritage Property.

Geraldton to North-Eastern Goldfields Infrastructure Corridor (Bulletin 1106)

This report, published as Bulletin 1106, provides the Environmental Protection Authority's (EPA's) advice to the Minister for the Environment on the strategic assessment of the Western Australian Government's concept to establish the Geraldton to North-eastern Goldfields Infrastructure corridor between Compressor Station 7 (CS7) on the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) and the Goldfields Highway north of Leonora.
 

Environmental values associated with the alignment of Roe Highway Stage 8 (Bulletin 1088)

Following a request from the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, the Minister for the Environment and Heritage sought advice from the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) in late August 2002 pursuant to Section 16(j) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 in relation to the alignment for Stage 8 of Roe Highway. Specifically, the Minister for the Environment and Heritage sought the EPA’s confirmation of the environmental values that would be impacted if Stage 8 of Roe Highway were to be constructed.

Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary System Management Strategy: Progress and Compliance by the Proponents with the Environmental Conditions set by the Minister for the Environment in 1989, 1991 and 1993 (Bulletin 1087)

A Management Strategy for the Peel Inlet and Harvey Estuary System was approved for implementation by the Minister for the Environment on 4 January 1989. The Strategy was developed to address an environmental problem of massive algal growth in the Peel-Harvey System, caused by an increase in nutrients, especially phosphorus, from the estuaries' coastal catchment. Appendices A and B are not included in the download pdf file.
