The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is proposing to rezone 49.47 hectares (ha) in Forrestdale from Rural to Urban.
The amendment area consists of Lots 3, 5, 23, 24, 61, 91, 100, 200 and 336 and is bounded by Armadale and Anstey Roads, and the Keane Road reserve, Forrestdale. The area borders Bush Forever site 342 to the north west and north east. The land is generally flat and has been mostly cleared for grazing.
The Shire of Exmouth proposes to replace the current Town Planning Scheme No. 3 with a new Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (IPS 4). LPS 4 contains new scheme provisions and includes recommendations from the new proposed Local Planning Strategy.
The Shire of Shark Bay proposes to replace the current Local Planning Scheme No.3 (LPS 3) with the proposed Local Planning Scheme No.4 (LPS 4). LPS4 updates the scheme text, scheme provisions and includes recommendations of the Local Planning Strategy.
The Town of Port Hedland proposes to rezone land generally bound by Styles Road (south), Pretty Pool Creek (north), Cooke Point Drive (west) and existing single residential housing in the Pretty Pool residential area (east) from "Rural", "Parks and Recreation" and "Other Public Purpose - Energy" to "Urban Development".
