Albemarle Lithium Pty Ltd (Albemarle) is proposing to stablish the Albemarle Kemerton Plant, a Lithium hydroxide Product manufacturing plant and associated infrastructure, within the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area (KSIA), approximately 17 kilometres north-east of Bunbury. The Utah Point Berth Project consists of two separate stages: Stage A: Dredging and Reclamation; and Stage B: Construction and Operation. Stage A, dredging and reclamation works for the UPBP was approved by the Minister for Environment as an amendment to the existing Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) approval and managed according to the approved conditions.
