The proposed nickel/cobalt ore mining and processing operation is located near the former gold mining centre of Murrin Murrin, approximately 60km east of Leonora, in Western Australia. The project involves the establishment of open cut mine pits, a processing plant and associated infrastructure. The proposal is to develop an upgraded tailings storage facility (TSF) at the Mt Keith nickel mine, located approximately 100 kilometres north of Leinster in the north-eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia Mining.
