Summary:

To expand the Jack Hills Iron Ore Project, 120 kilometres northwest of Meekatharra and approximately 400 kilometres northeast of Geraldton. 

The proposal consists of a designated mining area containing two open pits, integrated waste and tailings landform, ore beneficiating plant and workshops, a combined gas pipeline spur and water pipe corridor, a services (possible water, gas, power transmission) corridor to Weld Range, the Byro Sub-basin Borefield and the Murchison Palaeochannel Borefield, a power station, airstrip, village and ancillaries.  The Jack Hills Expansion Project is contiguous with the Stage 1 mine.

Summary: The proposal is for the construction and operation of two nominal 229 Megawatt (208 Megawatt net sent-out) subcritical coal-fired base-load generation plants (i.e. Bluewaters Power Station Phases III and IV) on a site adjacent to the existing Bluewaters Phase I and Phase II generating plants located approximately 4.5 kilometres north-east of Collie. The proposal also involves the construction and operation of an approximately 63 kilometre long wastewater discharge pipeline following the same alignment as the existing Collie A Power Station wastewater pipeline with a route deviation through the coastal foredune system, and an ocean outfall consisting of an approximately 650 metre long pipe including a 110 metre long diffuser located north of the Leschenault Inlet at Buffalo Road.

0850 – Pluto Liquefied Natural Gas Development (Site B Option) Burrup Peninsula, Shire of Roebourne
Summary: Amendment of Ministerial conditions for the construction of facilities for the development of the Pluto Gas Field on the North-West Shelf, and the processing and export of the gas at a liquefied natural gas plant to be constructed on the Burrup Peninsula. 0848 – Kwinana Export Facility, Kwinana
Summary: Amendment of Ministerial conditions for the construction and operation of a port facility. The facility will consist of three components:
  1. Marine component - a southern extension of the Bulk Cargo Jetty, an access jetty, an enclosed conveyor and a bulk material ship loader;
  2. Terrestrial component - an automated rail car dumper, an enclosed conveyor, a storage shed and other infrastructure; and
  3. Rail component - a rail line within the existing service corridor.
The rail and terrestrial components are located in the area bounded by Kwinana Beach Road, the Bulk Cargo Jetty access road, Wells Road and the shoreline at Kwinana Beach. The marine component is located in the ocean immediately south of the existing Bulk Cargo Jetty, as documented in schedule 1 of Statement 549.

0847 – Roy Hill Infrastructure Railway, Shire of Ashburton, Shire of East Pilbara, Town of Port Hedland
Summary:

The proposal is to construct and operate a railway of approximately 320 kilometres length and associated infrastructure to transport iron ore from the Roy Hill 1 Iron Ore Mining Project Stages 1 and 2 to facilities at Port Hedland.

Attachment 1 to Statement 847 – Change to rail corridor alignment – change to proposal approved under s45C on 20 May 2011.

Attachment 2 to Statement 847 – Addition of a lateral access road extending outside the environmental approval corridor, and ancillary access roads within the environmental approval corridor – change to proposal approved under section 45C on 10 May 2013.

Attachment 3 to Statement 847 – Increase in the area of construction disturbance from 6,000 to 7,400 hectares – change to proposal approved under section 45C on 28 November 2013.

0846 – Albany Port Expansion Project
Summary: The proposal is for the dredging of 12 million cubic metres of sediments to widen and deepen the existing shipping channel into Princess Royal Harbour and to extend the shipping channel into King George Sound to allow access of cape-size vessels to the Port. Dredged material will be disposed offshore at a location in King George Sound. A portion of the dredged material will be used for reclamation of up to 9 hectares of Princess Royal Harbour to construct a new berth (Berth 7).

Summary: The proposal is to construct and operate a subsea pipeline, onshore gas treatment and compression plant, and sales gas pipeline. The subsea pipeline from the Macedon Gas Field (100 kilometres west of Onslow) connects to the onshore gas treatment and compression plant at Ashburton North (15 kilometres southwest of Onslow). The sales gas pipeline connects the onshore facility to the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas (DBNG) Pipeline.
