The Office of the EPA has not received the report on community testing of sediment at North Fremantle.
Michelle Andrews, Managing Director OEPA, said that the Swan River is a modified system in an urban environment and that any testing would reveal low levels of contaminants.
"Comprehensive sampling of the river and near shore coastal waters by Fremantle Ports has been undertaken and results have not revealed anything of concern either to the ecosystem or human health," she said.
As part of the Fremantle Ports' sampling program, mussels and sediments have been collected and tested and results will be publically released, as have all other results.
