This web site was developed to provide information on how the EPA intends to protect the State's environment. Most of the EPA published documents are in Adobe Acrobat® (PDF) file format. You will need a copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader® to view these PDF files. You can download a free copy of the reader at Adobe's web site.
The EPA web site was designed for ease of access to published documents. The contents menu on the left side displays the relevant information on the main portion of the web side. These documents are itemised into four (4) major categories and would normally lead to a PDF file. The file size file format and download links are indicated with the document when a download file is available. We are currently converting all published documents into pdf file format.
If you can't find your required document in electronic format, the Department of Environment and Conservation information centre can provide a printed copy of the document, free of charge, as a service to the community. The information centre is open daily to the public from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at:
In the case of proponent environmental review documents not being available electronically, they can be purchased from the proponent for a nominal charge.
