1269	Keysbrook Mineral Sands Mine
	Summary: This report provides the Environmental Protection Authority's (EPA's) advice and recommendations to the Minister for the Environment on the proposal by Olympia Resources Limited to develop a mineral sands mine near the rural township of Keysbrook. The proposal involves the excavation and processing of a low-grade heavy mineral sands deposit to produce 920,000 tonnes of heavy mineral concentrate over 8 years. 1271	Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Noise Regulation 17 Variation
	Summary: KCGM has applied to the Minister for the Environment for an Approval pursuant to noise regulation 17 to enable it to vary its noise levels from the prescribed standard in the noise regulations, which has been triggered by the Environmental Impact Assessment of the proposed Fimiston Gold Mine Operations Extension (Stage 3) and Mine Closure Planning. In accordance with noise regulation 17, the Minister has referred the application for variation to the EPA for assessment. 1243	Fire Management in the Kimberley and other Rangeland Regions of Western Australia

Taking into account the available data, the EPA has come to the conclusion there is enough evidence to justify urgent action being taken to prevent further loss of the biodiversity values of the Rangeland regions. 1242	Mt Gibson Iron Ore Mine and Infrastructure Project
	Summary: Mount Gibson Mining Limited proposes to mine and process iron ore (hematite and magnetite) from Extension Hill and Extension Hill North. The proposal also includes the construction of a pipeline to transport the magnetite slurry to Geraldton Port, and infrastructure at the port to strip the ore from the slurry for export. The operation will yield approximately 13 million tonnes of hematite over 8 years and 230 million tonnes of magnetite over 20 years. Extension Hill and Extension Hill North are part of a ridge of Banded Ironstone Formations (BIFs) within the Mt Gibson ranges in the Mid West region of Western Australia. 1240	Strategic advice on the proposed buffer for the Woodman Point Wastewater Treatment Plant
	Summary: The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has been requested by the Minister for the Environment to provide advice under section 16(e) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 on the buffer requirements for the Water Corporation's Woodman Point Wastewater Treatment Plant. The request arises out of community concerns regarding the extent of the odour buffer from the Plant. Mt Gibson Iron Ore Mine and Infrastructure Project

Summary: Mount Gibson Mining Limited proposes to mine and process iron ore (hematite and magnetite) from Extension Hill and Extension Hill North. The proposal also includes the construction of a pipeline to transport the magnetite slurry to Geraldton Port, and infrastructure at the port to strip the ore from the slurry for export.
